I believe in the transformational power of yoga, whether your aim is to stretch and de-stress at the end of a busy day or to re-invigorate and balance body and mind.
Attending regular classes at the North London Buddhist Centre and elsewhere, I have been practising yoga for around 14 years. I have completed the British Wheel of Yoga (BWY) accredited teacher training Diploma at Yogacampus, one of the UK’s most established teacher training centres. Prior to that, I completed the BWY Foundation Course with Susannah Hoffman. I have recently completed the BWY Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy module with Tarik Dervish.
I attend regular workshops and have been lucky enough to learn from eminent practitioners including my wise and experienced tutors at Yogacampus and also Tarik Dervish and Yuri Tada.
I also recently enjoyed a day-long workshop with Max Strom at Triyoga. I would recommend his book, ‘A Life Worth Breathing’: http://www.yogamatters.com/product/527/bkstrolifp/a-life-worth-breathing-paperback.html
I teach a weekly flowing hatha yoga class on a Wednesday at the Movingartsbase. In this class, I focus on alignment in postures and movement, safety and breath awareness, aiming to help students on their own path of yoga. From September 2, I am starting a new lunchtime class on a Monday in Borough Market.
Please do drop by and try a class- I would be delighted to welcome you!
