The playwrights of the Jacobethan period mingled with the City's merchants and traders, observed theirs characters, and put them onto the stage. Much Ado About Trading interweaves readings from plays by William Shakespeare and his contemporaries into an exploration of City trade.

Please meet me outside Cannon Street Underground Station, on Dowgate Hill: look out for my blue 'Footprints of London' hi-vis waistcoat. The tour finishes near Bank Underground Station.
Concessions apply to students, the unwaged, those aged 65 and over, and children aged 6-15 (who MUST be accompanied by a paying adult); children 5 and under go free with a paying adult.
The tour will go ahead regardless of the weather (unless there is an extreme weather warning). Please dress appropriately.
