Both Hatha and Sivananda style yoga classes in a yurt. The are 6/8 places in the yurt so the teacher has time for every student. The round structure creates a lovely atmosphere, it is very relaxing and peaceful. The yurt is lit by candlelight and kept warm with a wood burning stove. There are classes to suit all abilities. Helena runs gentle classes, focusing on breath and body awareness. Each class comprises of relaxation, asanas(yoga poses), breathing techniques and a short meditation. Retheesh runs Sivananda style classes and focuses on developing deep stretches. He really enjoys enabling students to deepen their poses. Both teachers are committed to helping their students get as much as they can from their yoga.
Students need to complete a short information form when they first attend class.
Please wear loose clothing, mats, blankets and cushions are provided.
You are welcome to bring your own mat is you wish to do so.
